California Political Action for Candidate Election (CalPACE) Committee

1. The NASW California Political Action for Candidate Election shall serve the following purposes:
   • To help elect and re-elect public officials and candidates who support the goals and objectives of the social work profession and its clients;
   • To promote the adoption of legislation that is in the interest of the social work profession and its clients;
   • To oppose legislation that is detrimental to the social work profession and its clients; and
   • To promote member education and mobilization of lawful political action among members of the social work profession, including seeking elective or appointive political office

Donate to CalPACE

Contributions to CalPACE helps NASW help social worker candidates and social worker friendly candidates get elected.  Candidates use donations to among other things to their message out to voters.  In a large populous state like California, getting the message out via mailers, email, websites and the media is expensive.  Please help by donating what you can to CalPACE.
